Dawn Patrol Downwinder - Port Shelter Express

From Nov - Jan we get a few days with Northerly winds which generally are 30 knot+ with blue skies. We can see them coming on WG and they usually last a day, maximum 2, and we have to make the most of them. Mid-week this means getting up at 5am, dropping a car at the end of the run at 5.45am and launching just after first light at 6.30am to get back in time for work.. This run is one of our favourites. The Port Shelter Express, which is 10.5kms / 6.5miles of groomed corduroy. A great way to start the day.. A few pics from yesterday.
