Two quality sessions this week for sure!!!!!  Big and I had a similar day this past Tuesday.

Usually days like yesterday draw large crowds, which was the case Tues.  Yesterday, however, I was the only one out for the two hour ses..... not sure why(?). Forecast I guess ....which was only calling for 2’ or so.....actual conditions were glassly waist to shoulder faces when I was out.

Love love love winter waves/days!

The outer Cape had a similar 2' forecast.

CG was firing with some chest to near head high sets.

The crowd had 2 morning shifts.  Big Creek and many did the morning and a few others and me did the second half.

My almost had to narcan me off the couch to do some chores!

Just keep taking the Narcan and you'll be free of that couch addiction in no time.  ;)

It took me a while. I had to look it up.

Was in Newport on Saturday night with my wife.  There was some decent swell.  Surf wasn't in the cards for me this time.  SUP guy got a good wave.

Stylin' Stiles on the B & B, SharkBoy on his new SMIK, HelmetMan, GreenCreek, and a couple of Cape Cod refugees had a great session at Second yesterday.

Waist to chest, bigger sets, offshore winds, SUN, and the suppatrol had total control of the lineup.

I went to my private left at concessions, WhatsSup took off on a head high wave, strolled up the tip and rode it to the beach.

My buds from the cape were killing it on a Square Nosed Angulo, and an 8' Starby Pro.

I was learning how to ride my new SMIK 9'2 Hipster. Changed the fins to keels with the nub.
Scotty has created something slick, or should I say SMIK.

Green Creek dude was ripping. Wanted to talk, but he was gone.

An awesome session. Felt like SPRING!!

Really fun day!!!!  Biggie fine tuning the new Smik with some very nice rides!  One of those days were I wished I had taken the time to set up the SS3 but decided to leave it in the truck.   :o. Lots of hoots and howlers for sure and plenty of stoke.

Stylin' Stiles told me to cross the bridge, it was gonna glass off.

Captain Stiles was correct!

Fun eve Big!  As we discussed, first half of March not so good with only a  few outings.  Three this week was nice and hopefully a sign of better conditions to come. Last night put me at 7 sessions for the month so can’t complain!

Come on April!!

Amazing fun at Second today. Offshore winds a clean little mystery groundswell.

NOBODY there!

Well there was a young longboarder who went leashless given the massive crowd scene and a 71 year olde fahrte on a SMIK Hipster Twin MiniMal.

Trading waves hooting hollering and it was warm! Hood down, I told the young fella he made me do it!

Waist to chest glassy coming in sets from the mystery sandbar. Concessions was also as good as it gets.

Whuda thunk a Twin Fin longboard would be as stable up on the Schnozz. Still figuring this new sled out.

And then the seabreeze came up and our little interlude of glassy longboarding shananigans was ovah.

Pink head disease. Sunscreen oops!
