We had some long period knee to waist in NH for a couple days but the tide didn't line up well for the mornings. Too much of a zoo during the day. I passed on it.

swell of the summer, so far, last week, OC----LB NY had head high glass on the sets Tues AM, solid leftovers Wed---other than that, it's been a thin summer.

very crowded, but easy to find good ones, since i am the only SUP at my local, and most of the summer types can be counted on to miss all their drops!

nothing major in the forecast, but hope storm's start soon.................

Earlier last week I had a stretch of 5 straight dawn patrol mornings that were REALLY fun.  It was topped off last Thursday morning with fellow Zoner PDLSFR with some amazing waves.....

1st pic is of PDLSFR catching a bomb & me in the foreground trying not to get crunched.

I also bought a new Walden Magic longboard....yep, have been experimenting on the dark side - I haven't surfed in probably 30 years and even then was a total newbie.  I was pretty surprised at how easy I seemed to transition - I just need to figure out what to do with my hands!!!  ;D ;D ;D  Sooo much fun.  July has been a blast - I racked just over a dozen sessions!

Creek:  Thanks for posting the pics...and, as always, thanks to Weed for his artistry and persistence.
Loving your old "orange" Creek.  I may not have made that wave, but did make a couple of zippers......of course that is always before Weed gets there!  The shark shield is functioning as advertised, at least the blinking lights and beeps work, and it did give me a nice little jolt in the chest (they need to run the "antenna" on the other side of the board).  Note to "sharkboy" Mr.B....the Cape now apparently has a lot of makeshift heart zappers, to use in a pinch.

6-8 foot swells 12 seconds made for some large and interesting waves.

No zaps, no sharks!

One afternoon after leaving second as the wind
was onshore, I drove by first. Total glass and flat like a millpond.

But wait, a four wave set came in way OH. I thought I was somewhere else.

Paddled out, no drama, no shorepound,  three others, as the hordes were at second.

And boom another set! 200 yards never section,
and kick out early.

South swell at Castles? Nope. Just an amazing
gift from Baby Huey.

Five bombs and then it got dark..

Yeah...Sunday was more from the low that went....I am always more curious about the longer period S Atlantic stealthy swell....not as big as Sunday though..I think we are still in that window.

Big speaks in code...yes
I don't think he should do a Shark Shield and Defib though...too much amperage!

every dog has his day!---sorry ive got no pics---gonna try dawn thurs--might be a little something..........

hoping for an active east coast storm season with great surf and little peripheral damage

my starby has a hole that's drying out for repair, so im fully into my 8'7" 115 liter creek--i think it's just the right size for me @ 6'1.5" and 190 lbs---been loving it and now go a full 3 hr sesh without tiring and losing balance--and on the face i am able to do more and more

if i ding my creek, then ill dial the portal.........

gotta focus on that board more
