Paddling on the danube river

My first attempt to paddle with the wind.
10 kts upstream. Unfortunately my downbreeze skills are not advanced, since I have my board for only a few weeks.

Hello, where was that? I used to paddle the danube close to Vienna  a lot with my Kayak (moved away sich years ago) and from a retrospective view downwinding upstream would definitely work if conditions are lined up! Greetings from Tirol Bernhard

I think, with a little more wind it will be better. Some mini glides are at the second half of the video.

The great Thing is no matter what conditions are like, its always fun to paddle! I mostly paddle achensee  (lake) with regular winds and enjoy every stroke ( upwind, downwind, flatwater, with Kids on board, ...)

You were definitely catching some glides later in the vid. That's a great board, and those skills will come. It's all about TOTW (Time on the Water).

Thanks. Yes I'm happy with my board. Only in flatwater it could be a bit faster, but this was already known to me. TOTW is the point
