Suggestions for Daytona/New Symrna area for this Saturday

Headed from Va to Orlando for Spring Break with the boys this weekend. After a night stay in Sanatee, SC would like to stop in Daytona/New Symrna for the afternoon to get in some SUS and prone surfing for the boys before continuing our trip to Orlando. Not too picky on conditions as I figure it will be an unknown. Thanks for any suggestions of locations and parking.

I would drive to new Smyrna beach and drive on the beach towards the inlet and pick a spot to surf.  But better than that drive to cocoa beach instead and surf south of the pier it's warmer than new smyna and there is the bee line straight to Orlando after you surf.  528 direct to Orlando about 45 minutes

Thanks Mdsurf - we're going to Cocoa on Monday and Tuesday. Went to 16th street a couple of years ago and had some good sets and not crowded and my SUP seemed welcomed

also this weekend in cocoa is the Easter Surf Festival.   More than 55 years a tradition
