I don't have a picture of my new one, but it's just like this one, maroon instead of white, a 2004, and doesn't have 160K miles on it. The pop up tent trailer I still have and it is da bomb for me Baja escapes.

p.s. this is the trip that Chuck Paterson taught me how to SUP.

Here's my rig, loaded for lessons. Glad I bought a truck with an 8' bed. Nope, not me- that's the grom I hire to load, unload and clean boards... you may also know him as Camera Grom.

The funmobile:

The tubes hold sails and masts. I built the rack so the arms can be reversed and extended so i can carry two Hobie Adventure island trimaran kayaks as well as boards and other stuff. somewhere I have a photo of the jeep with two kayaks and four boards loaded.

Note the grab strap on my Foote board. It's turning out to be a great addition for enabling better board control while getting flogged. No downside that i can see so far.

The new trailer:

In Portland I have a F350 diesel with a good rack that can carry the required toys.

Ah ha! I found a picture of the F350 with a Starboard 12'6" on it and Nero behind--the combination living quarters/car hauler I built out of a 34' Airstream. This was at Mall of America (what a grotesque place!!) in Minneapolis a day before the bridge fell there. I swear that my driving over it with all this stuff had nothing to do with it

also found an old pic of the fully loaded funmobile on Ponohouse:

Pretty funny to see that I was thinking about a motorcycle trailer for SUP back in early 2007. I thought it was a new stupid idea:

We call it Big Burb.
2004 Suburban 2500 Quadrasteer.  The 11-6 Waveyarder goes on top, using Thule cross bars adapted to the factory roof rails.  The newly ordered 10-0 will fit inside for quick-deploy surf missions.

My eco-snob "green car", I tie the boards on with hemp rope  ;D
It takes a quiver to do that.
