My Honda Element, 2 boards on the roof, 2 inside. Love it, however I really want a Sprinter van like Easy Rider.

Here's my junk. Yeah, it's kid stuff, built back when I was 30 years dumb. Passes everything but a gas station. Expensive to operate, awesome for camping trips, hauls some heavy loads on occasion. I'll go small   ;D  and get a half-ton for my next rig, but this one looks like it'll last another ten years, at least. We should be out of oil, or out of clean air to burn by then, amirite?

camera-phone pic  :P

pre-emptive response for the groovies: I haven't driven anything motorized to work since December of '07- I walk or ride a bicycle, every day, no exceptions. My utility bills totaled less than one thousand dollars last year, and I'll be at least that efficient this year. I have not pro-created. Spent eight years off the grid before moving to the city, low impact in extremis. So: the next time you see some jackass in a gashog truck, try not to jump to any conclusions, please. My rig was driven less than 1500 miles last year, and my carbon footprint is likely smaller than yours. Neener neener!  ;)

Hi JD.  It's a great board but I haven't had a chance to get out in the right conditions.  I've been having a blast on the NS96 which is more of an all-arounder.

Hola Chris... I've logged several sessions on the SS93. It freaking "ROCKS", Dude!!! The best 'surfboard wrapped in SUP's clothing' I have ever been on. But I'm Jones-ing to try that 88 out... Been doing any racing as of late?       Later, JD

Holy shit Chris... that's the coolest RV I've ever seen (yes, way more soul than a Sportmobile)... next time I come up to 'patch I want to do a full photo shoot of it... that thing is rad. Here's a suggestion: Load that sucker up this December and follow me down to the tip... bring Magic.

A long time ago, I had a home-made trailer (similar to that one) that I used to tote my windsurf boards around. The wife and I were down in central Fla looking for wind one weekend. I made a u-turn and caught the frigging tire on the center curbing and the darn thing went over on it's side right in the middle of traffic! I jumped out of the car, turned into superman for a brief second, and picked the whole thing up and righted it... Then pulled out of traffic to survey the damage (which was minor - thank goodness)...
Just tell your friend NOT to load too much weight on the top racks...   Later,  JD

Here's the family wagon or aka The Battle Tank. Just washed and ready to load. My Ford Ranger prerunner in the back, thinking about having a friend weld up a removable single rack in the rear and use a soft rack over the cab.
