Anyone know if a 10'6 fits into a Toyota Sienna?

I have a Toyota Sienna... pic's to follow (someday).  It is my stealth surfmobile and it freaking rocks!  The My 9'6" Naish fits, my friend's 10'0 longboard fits... my 11'0" SUP does not... I think the 10'6" will "fit", but diagonally from driver rear to passenger front... and not be too fun or functional... my 9'6" and my friend's 10"0 slide right up the middle.

Good luck,

Mine is a 2005 which holds my 2 Imagine Eco's (8'6 & 9'0) Enigmas inside with my kitesurfing gear/board and the outside is reserved for my larger boards.  Used to have a Xterra and could get my 9'6 inside but could not see out the passenger side.  Now my only concern is the texture of the water!

Another Cape Cod rig carrying a SUP (facsimile).

The key here is not the rig but what happened shortly there after.  The place is north of one of last’s year’s nicer breaks.  The beast in the bed has been successful in helping me learn how to paddle.  The Methane paddle had just received an edge trim job with 3M’s Scotch Pro Grade Rubber Mastic Tape #2228 found at Home Depot for $9; as learned here on this forum.  The paddle handle is still attached with tape as suggested by Stoneaxe I think.  I’m not ready to make the final shaft cut until I get a smaller board.  The day was very nice, calm and a cool - 45F.  The session was my first venture into the waves (thigh – waist) after a winter of in-bay flat water practice. Waves - WHAT AN EGO DEFLATER.  For those like me who are learning; think of flat water as 2-D then add in the elevation  change of waves and rollers and presto 3-D.  My legs were shake’n like a puppy dog waiting for a newspaper slap!  (Don’t worry I don’t own a dog)  Most of the time was spent just getting use to going up and down.  After a quick hour of paddling between two breaks getting a taste of the waves, I took one.  The unexpected acceleration kicked my scrawny a$$ off the back end.  My leash ripped off with barely a tug.  And that was it; home for kid care duty.  Once home, my job was called off and permission was granted to head back out.  By that time the wind had picked up enough that regular surfing was the call.  Some OK rides and one text book considering my ability and what you get on Cape Cod made it a super morning.  Bottom line - the power of the paddle is too good to pass up!

Thanks for reading, RC
