2014 season in Oslo

A short film from the 2014 season at our local lake Nöklevann in Oslo. We have experimented with different camera angles, among them a high pole on the back of the board and a GoPro mounted on a small remote controlled boat. Be sure to watch the collision in the end of the movie

I recently was watching a travel doc about the north of your country.
Way up there little fishing village, island?, not sure.  At the very end they did a quick beach pan and showed a standup surfer on a juicy wave, and then a small
crowded peak.  You've got some secret Norwegian surf town?

surfinJ, I guess the spot you think about is Unstad beach up in the Lofoten islands in North Norway, above the arctic circle. It is a quite famous spot, and every year the Lofoten Masters is arranged there. I think it´s the world´s northernmost surf competition.

Hey thanks.  That was it, Lofoten.  Thought it just one island. The vid must
have been taken during that contest, too many guys in the water to be all locals.

Waves were quite good, bigger then the photo.  Bet there's not a lot of stink eye amongst Norwegian surfers.

I liked all the different camera locations... it gave me some ideas to freshen my vids up.

It is a nice change to see lots of young folks enjoying SUP.
