Foote-Maui master plug
« on: November 12, 2008, 09:44:37 AM »
Here is the new master plug for the new 9'10'' x 29 3/8'' x 4 5/8'' being added to the production line in the Spring of 09. It is a board designed to cary larger riders with the same rocker and design as the already proven 10' x 26 3/4'' x 4'' already in production...Aloha

Very cool shape Bill. What is your theory behind the design? Wings in particular.

Aloha ... The wings and the swallow work really well together. The wings take some curve out of the template and focusses it at one point on the rail, The straight template gives it more drive and the wings give it a snappy feeling. Also as the water flows off the wings it creates a void behind the wings that makes the tail free, and the swallow gives it that extra bite...Plus it just looks sexy..BF

Nice looking plug........When is your board coming out? I agree with you on this design. If you notice ALL my boards has this sting/winger set up. I love this concept it works really well.

Cool looking board.....If you need anyone to "demo" it here at Makaha feel free to send one over. I send it back, I promise ::)

Aloha.......Sam
