Hurricane Arthur in NJ
« on: July 06, 2014, 11:16:13 AM »
It was def NOT a let down. here in NJ. I surfed alot of good waves on Fri and Sat. It was pretty gnarly for SUP on Fri so I hit it on my 6'6" quad fish. Sat was SUP perfection off the beach I live at though. Fifteen days after my ear surgery for exostosis too.

This storm ran the full gamut of conditions in 48 hrs. From waist high slop early on the fourth to overhead bombs in the afternoon and evening. To perfect waist to chest high offshore peaks the next morning on the fifth. To near flat on the evening of the fifth.

One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"
