You could put a 5 gal. sparklets bottle on the nose, and see if it downwinds better that way.

Is that packing tape holding it together?
It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

Pretty cool, though I hope that's not the future of "green". I especially like the shower mat "pad". Now you need to take it into some surf. J.O.B would ride that at Pipe.
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.

The look of the board makes you forget to look at the paddle.  Check it out.  It looks like technique won't affect the performance.
