How bad is your Surfer's Ear (exostosis)?

Four days post-op. I'm going crazy w/boredom and pain!!
I fall asleep for a while everyday around noon and upon awaking am welcomed w/a nice sharp pain right dead center, right ear. Take two Vicoden...this is BRUTAL! Sometimes when eating if I chew wrong the ear pain gets agonizing.
Tha Vicoden is NOT strong enough. They shoulda given me Oxy.

Had the left ear done a few years back...Oregon cold water for about 15 years on top of San Diego surf 20+ years prior.
Had the micro chisel technique and was out of the water about a month...of course a great swell came through as soon as I had the procedure.
I can't get plugs to stay in so I use tac n stik...blue sticky stuff. Old man ear hair makes for a great anchoring system.
I have 80% blockage in the right ear too but also have a damaged ear drum from too much loud music in my youth. I call it my lawn mower ear...if someone starts mowing the lawn too early, just roll over and put the good ear on the pillow...voila! Back to sleep.
