Hi-Tech by the airport, get your gear on the way in.  Don't know any west side shops, sorry.

Hawaiian Island Surf n Sport across from Kmart right as you leave the airport has anything you need and the staff are all into stand-up.

Hi Tech is building a new store in Kihei. That should be handy, though it's a long way from Kahana. Great choice for a place to stay by the way. I like the vibe there. Very 50's. I've often thought the hotel and business owners should get together and make the place even more Vintage. It could be a real destination.

808 surf is a fine recommendation. They do delivery to the hotels for rental boards and gear. They must have a retail location by now, they're buying Foote production boards by the container load.
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.

Big Kahuna in Kihei.   Great place.

The owner, Jeff King, is an old windsurfing buddy of mine from San Diego. He,s a good guy and I,m sure he,ll treat you right.

Thanks again guys. Pono Bill,we are right in front of mushrooms/s-turns....very sweet.Kahana is a great spot.Easy travel if needed. Having spent 30 yrs driving up and down the gorge looking for wind, the ride to Kanaha is a piece of cake if needed.

Hey, you're talking to the king of all the gear, all the time.

Two hobie adventure islands, three surfboards, 1 downwind board, four windsurf sails, three masts, two booms, all the other crap that goes with that, the wife and the dog.
