This guy didn't have a prayer of getting out on this line but he eventually got over to the channel and got out to the lane's lefts all by himself.  Most sets were closing out.  This was a lull during this pic.  Most times it was six to seven lines of whitewater.  Wind is about 10 side offshore

That's one long swim if your leash were to break.

The swim is a lot shorter than even lower Kanaha, but getting out of the water sucks. Unless you can magically make the little channel at Trees in spite of the counter current you're climbing out over the nastiest rock and coral on the north shore.
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.
