Woogie Marshs' new board featuring latest modifications- deeper deck concave to lower riders centre of gravity, vents to release any excess water that may be trapped by deeper concave and new steering system operated via small foot peddle. Steering still requires minor tweeking but we are really happy with how well it is working.......Stuey

Wicked.

Thanks Bill and how good is this site?  I love building stuff and the ocean and fishing and I just stumbled across a fishing cruiser by Stoneaxe and there's not enough hours in the day...........

Thankyou, the board in the photos is 26 1/2" wide. We haven't had a boat available at the moment capable of offshore work so have only filmed this one in action in the river. As soon as we can get one and have a bit of footage will post a video............Cheers Stuey

Wow!  Absolutely smokin! Can't wait to see it in action Stuey.

I'm embarassed to have you even see that design Stuey....it looks like an ark in comparison. When I was thinking about building that I was still unsure of how stable I'd be able to be on a standup board while fishing. The idea of the removable outriggers was just in case I needed them. Luckily that hasn't proved necessary.

Are you definitely building a board for Bill? If so I can't wait to try it on my next visit.

I love the looks of that toe turn. Exactly what I envisioned for a servo-operated rudder.

I don't know Bob, whenever I go fishing I fall in at least once per fish. I need to sit down sooner I guess, but it's fun to fight them standing. Hooked either a Salmon or a Steelhead today. Didn't get to see it close enough to say for sure. I was trolling for walleye when a small explosion went off behind me. I must have set the hook with a paddle thrust. I picked the rod up and got two nice runs with a jump, then gone. Either a small king or a big steelhead.

No, I didn't fall down this time, the air temp is too low. I think if the fish had stayed on longer I would have been in the drink though.
