rudder foot control

I want to put a rudder on a 16-5 build.
Never seen a ruddered SUP irl.

Where should I put the foot controller for goffy foot in relation to normal standing position ?  Dimensions welcome!

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking but for goofy foot steering, you want to be able to control the rudder with your right foot toes.  Where you stand on the board depends on the proper trim, which is hard to determine without first using the board.  The ideal trim position depends on conditions (i.e. flat water further forward, downwinders further back) as well as the volume distribution, rider weight and rocker line of the board.  There is not really a formula you can follow.  If you have to put it in before glassing you can use the volume center (balance point) of the board as a guide and make the controller arm position adjustable so you can adjust it once you find the right trim position.

Hi Blue,

Assume i am standing on thé board in normal flat water and paddeling with correct trim, my feet are side to side.
Assume I have a SIC Maui type foot pin. Where is the end of the pin( that I will push with my foot)  in relation to my big toe on my right foot?
