Something hilarious about watching those body surfers with their fins in the waves, they look like crazy big fish on boards.

Daily... please don't move to NC... keep the pics & videos coming ;D

First few boogie waves, I thought "What a great SUP wave"

But, after watching the SUP, I was more than a little uncomfortable.... the boogies can run each other over, but the SUP is a bit much in that mix.... great wave though... looks like a blast. :D

Great video. Really enjoyed that! Thanks for posting.
Would have loved to have seen the surfing taking place at that spot back before the sponges took over!
It's all relative.

Love it!!!  Yes it is very dangerous and crowed, but it looks like our SUSer is up to the challenge.  What is that stick he's riding?  Squared off nose, squash tail? interesting!

What an interesting wave the way it doubles up and tubes.

It's my favorite wave to break out the surf mat.  It goes over the flat spot and then you can pull the e-brake for the barrel.

If you don't know what a surf mat is, check out my vid from Kauai. 4th Gear Flyer

Thanks for the harbor visit, what a ball !!!  I thought Noah handled
himself ok. I've got some reform breaks here that are easily abused
by surfers bombing from the outside.

My surf life started on a surf mat 45 years ago as a Jones Beach LI
grommet.  It's all we had.

In the 50's, My Mother would pile 6 of us in a Morris Minor Wagon and head off to a beach where the REAL waves were.... where we grabbed our air mattresses, and rode waves.

Man... I loved the wave riding, but I still cringe when I think about the "pit rash" and "nip rash".... brutal ;D

The rest of the harbor waves aren't as hollow and are actually really fun SUP waves.

Just wondering why the SUP's weren't catching the outside wave with the spongers?

Just wondering

That is a fun wave...and so is Harbor Lights but that Harbor holds the nastiest water on the planet.  When you eat shit there, it is no euphemism.
