What's the deal with Wet Feet?

The Wet Feet store in Aina Haina was the first dedicated SUP shop in the world, originally started by Jeff Chang, his sister Karen and Doug Locke.   For various reasons they had to close their retail location in Aina Haina earlier this year and are now focusing more on clinics, lessons and services.  Blue Planet and Wet Feet have collaborated in many ways over the years and their retail presence is now a Wet Feet wall within the Blue Planet shop, focused on merchandise not carried by our shop, including kitesurfing gear.

Blue Planet Surf Shop is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm

Because our address is listed on the Wet Feet website, customers often come in asking "Is this Wet Feet?" and we have to explain the situation, Wet Feet is basically a small shop within the Blue Planet Surf Shop.

Wet Feet and Blue Planet continue to collaborate in putting on SUP races, weekly coaching/ time trial groups, downwind shuttles on the weekend, as well as private lessons, downwinders and advanced coaching on appointment.

Jeff Chang recently mounted the Wet Feet sign above the Wet Feet wall in our shop.  We are proud to host Wet Feet in our shop,  a little piece of SUP history, the first SUP shop in the world lives on.
