It takes a quiver to do that.

Oh man, that was amazing. I saw them live at OutsideLands when they played a lot of songs they have not played live in a long time because they had so many of the collaborators with them.

The song below, "Because The Night", was originally performed by the Patti Smith Group. The song was composed by Patti Smith and Bruce Springsteen. A cover song was done later on by the band, 10000 Maniacs with Natalie Merchant and later with Mary Ramsey after Natalie Merchant left the band.

This is a good cover performed by the band, The Classic Rock Show in a live concert performance.

There is a blues singer, writer named Joe Bonamassa who started out as a 13 year old. He was so good with playing all types of guitars (acoustic, electric, slide) that he eventually caught the eye of the late BB King. Joe even played with BB and covered a lot of BB's songs when he was growing up. Joe is my favorite blues singer.

Below is not a cover song. It is a one of his original songs he wrote. In the video below, this is a few recording sessions spliced into one to make the video. It had to be done this way since Joe plays three different guitars in this video. BTW, this song is a "blues ballad".

Even though this is not a cover song, I hope you enjoy it. View it full screen mode.

We saw Joe Bonamassa in concert two nights ago. Is the third time we’ve been to see him. He is a phenomenal guitarist and puts on a great live show. While onstage Joe told the audience that this was his last show of the year, and this was their 111th show this year. So really, since we saw him on December 1st, that’ 111 shows in 11 months. That’s a pretty heavy touring schedule.

Wow! No cover song since December 29th, 2018! Well, that is way too long. I might as well get the first cover for 2019.

Back in the late 60's, a band came together and called themselves,"Chicago". Actually, they first called themselves, "Chicago Transit Authority" and later shortened it to "Chicago". Chicago's lead singer was Peter Cetera who later went solo.

They had many hit songs. One of them was "25 To 6 Or 4". Below is a russian group who made a cover song and this is one of the best renditions I've ever heard for this song and it is a studio rendition. The russian group calls themselves, "Leonid & Friends".

Now to the song.

Leonid & Friends - (Chicago Cover Song) "25 Or 6 To 4".

I was at the ELO concert in Vancouver a couple of nights ago. Great, great show. They put on an amazing performance. They did one song for an encore which was “Roll Over Beethoven”. I’ve always liked their version of this Chuck Berry classic, but this live performance was outstanding. While this isn't my recording, it is from the same show I was at.

My new favourite version of “Roll Over Beethoven”.

Cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams" by The Electric Peanut Butter Co.  I have no idea who they are but like this cover a lot.

The music also reminds me a little of the 70s Motown  hit "What you see is what you get" by the Dramatics

Nice find!  Like it. As if it should have been arranged that way originally... or could have at least.
