Not a cover...but, Pink Floyd is releasing their 1st new record in 20 years...cool cover...

After months of rumors, Pink Floyd have finally announced the details of their new album The Endless River, which hits shelves on November 10th. It's the group’s first new release since 1994’s The Division Bell. According to a press release, The Endless River is a “four-sided instrumental album,” though one track, “Louder Than Words,” has lyrics by David Gilmour’s wife Polly Samson. It was produced by Gilmour, Phil Manzanera, Youth and Andy Jackson

WD, thanks for the reminder.
For a cover band, these guys are actually pretty good.

It takes a quiver to do that.

+1 on James Marshall Hendrix. Saw him five times live back in the day. Original Experience, Band of Gypsies, and the Billy Cox, Mitch Mitchell variant. They were the absolute best of all time. Cream, The Who, and the early Jefferson Airplane were pretty good as well..
Let it come to you..

A serious cover of a serious song, warning, don't watch if you are allergic to chicken skin.
It takes a quiver to do that.

The Tears for Fears catalog seems to be custom made for creepy covers:

One time Santa Barbara resident, Joe Cocker, died a couple of days ago...December 22, 2014...

"In 1978, Cocker moved onto a ranch Jane Fonda owned in Santa Barbara, California. Pam Baker, a local summer camp director and fan of Cocker's music, persuaded the actress to lend the house to Cocker. Baker began dating Cocker, and they married on 11 October 1987."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Cocker

Folks...I'm here to tell you that he arguably performed more "hit it out of the ballpark" cover songs than anyone on the planet...totally made the songs his...

Definitely not a pretty boy rock star...had his substance abuse issues...like many of his Woodstock compadres...but, he survived unlike many of his peers...

This almost 2 hour concert from last year is EPIC!
Enjoy...this is a high quality production...

From the Beatles' "With A Little Help From My Friends"..."She Came In Through The Bathroom Window"...to the Box Tops' 1967 hit "The Letter"...Dave Mason's "Feelin' Alright"...his duet with Jennifer Warnes, "Up Where We Belong" - from An Officer And A Gentleman - hit number one and went on to win both a Grammy and an Academy Award in 1983. Joe Cocker was ranked number 97 on Rolling Stone's 100 greatest singers list...

http://thinkprogress.org/culture/2014/12/24/3606829/why-shouldnt-a-white-guy-sing-the-blues-joe-cocker/

Joe Cocker released 40 albums in his 50 year career. For more information regarding his career please go to www.cocker.com.

Joe enjoyed long walks in the mountains with his dogs, fly fishing in the Black Canyon, playing snooker with friends and growing tomatoes in his greenhouse year-round.

Joe Cocker is survived by his wife, Pam, of Crawford; his brother Victor Cocker of Norfolk, England; his step daughter, Zoey Schroeder of Stevenson Ranch, CA and two grandchildren, Eva & Simon Schroeder.
