Stolen SUPs - Sweetwater SUP Challenge
« on: June 16, 2013, 05:11:57 PM »
Had a good time at the race until we woke up Sunday morning to find that we had 4 boards and 2 paddles stolen off our trailer at The Boulevard Inn in St., Joseph. Here is a pic of the boards. Please keep an eye out for them in your area. We traveled up from Cleveland for the race. Here is a pic of the boards:

• Yellow Nalu 10' - all yellow on bottom with teal "N" logo.
• 9' F-One Manawa - red, black and wood veneer
• 12'6" Coreban Vision Race - white, wood veneer + red, silver and black board bag
• 12'6" Pau Hana Cross fit - Lime green, black & white
• Pau Hana Paddle
• Starboard paddle

Sorry to hear that.  That just sucks big time.  Hope you get them back.

That's terrible.  Sorry to hear about that.  I am seeing the pics in the FB newsfeed too.  That's really crappy.

That totally sucks. People that steal need to be eaten alive by a bear, slowly.

I'll print a copy of the photos and take to upcoming events.

I always worry about theft when I'm staying at a motel/hotel. So I often drag the boards into the room and somehow, find a spot for them.

Good luck in recovering them.

It's sad that people can be so rotten. Is there anything on the board that would help people identify them as yours?

Reading this makes me want to sharpie my name on mine.

The photos I posted are just to show the make and model except the Nalu in the photo with my kids from the race. You can also see the deck of the F-One.

The Coreban has a white oval Nalu SUP & Surf destination sticker just below the Coreban logo on the deck. It also has a green and white State of Ohio Wartercraft hull ID sticker on the right rail about 2 feet from the nose. These, I would assume will be removed but might leave a trace.

The Pau Hana alos had a State of Ohio Watercraft ID on the right rail.

The F-One and Nalu were pretty much brand new with no other uniques markers, not even any dings!
