Good all around paddle?

Picking up a C4 next wk and will need a paddle. Mix of class 1 river and lakes. Thinking of a Werner stinger for river/all around and a fuji for family/loaner. Thoughts?

I don't know much about those paddles but I'm thinking an adjustable is the way to go for that purpose.. Check out the Naish Makani with the 8" blade.. Not because it's Naish.. but because it's a great, cheap and durable paddle that is pretty bomb proof and reliable..  ;D

Cheap?

Here in Oz a good carbon paddle costs $500+ .. A very cheap and crappy paddle costs about $150 .. These Naish adjustable are about $250 .. so I guess they are not cheap, cheap.. But still a pretty good price IMO..  ;D .. I'm sure they are heaps cheaper in the US.

The Kialoa Pupu and adjustable Hapa might also be very good options.. They are also a good price and have a very durable blade for river use if there are rocks.

If you get adjustable try and avoid the spring pins and holes type.

I was very impressed with a paddle I saw at JimK's
It was a Niel Pryde Drop Apex adjustable paddle.
It does not look or feel like an adjustable. It was very light... not like most adjustables.
It has the best adjustable dodad I have seen, just a quick twist, adjust, twist back... and pretty water tight from what I could see.
I had just bought a Ke Nalu with Extended Ergo T... but I wanted the NP as well.... such a cool adjustment.

I found it at lots of prices on the internet... but JimK's was by far the best.
