As a not very experienced windsurfer I tried a 9'8 Mistral Wave SUP with a 6.0 no cam sail in 4 Bft on a lake last day and enjoyed it. Easy rigging, easy planing, no harness no straps just fun!

I like windsurfing SUP boards, its pure fun.

I agree with you that beyond 4bft a harness would help but I wanted to keep it basic. I hope you enjoy your boards. Do you get the 8'6 Wave? I like it it in the surf but never tried sailing it.

I would be happy to hear from your experiences with the boards.
