7'4 x 26.5" Finished !
« on: May 08, 2013, 02:18:24 PM »
here she is just shaped this for a friend 7'4 x 26.5" single concave in hot pink weighing in at 4.8kg glassed with double 6 top and bottom with 6oz deck patch.
Im hoping there is just enough foam there to float me to try it but i have a feeling that i may be sinking a little too much on this one!

What a beaut!  Man you turn these boards out quick!  And by the way, loved the hot wire cutter, may make one for myself. Thanks for posting all your great projects.  Good work!

Nice looking board.  Can I assume that is all carbon and no glass?  Did you vac bag it?  So light it's insane.

Beautiful! I don't think I could even paddle that on a glassy day. Did you vacuum bag it?

I'm amazed you were able to get it so light without bagging it! What weight was the foam and specifically what did you do to keep the weight down? I guess the fact that its only 7'-4" and 26.5" wide helped a lot to keep it light.

Man, that's shorter and only about six inches or so wider than my step up prone board.  Can't wait to see what happens when you get out on it.  Go shred.

It supposed to be 1.5 foam but think it measures more like 1.3 no wet out table just a plain wet layup and being Carefull with the resin and yes it is stringer less. It should be about 80l. The teenager it's for should get it this weekend, if I get any pics of him on it I will post them up.

I was in france last week and managed to get a quick paddle on the board, i throw the board down and jumped on fully expecting it to sink strait away but to my surprise it su 8)pported my 72kg very easily and actually felt quite stable and paddled very easily so much so i think there may be another board being added to my own quiver very soon!
