Where are they now?

A psudo follow up to the weekly weigh in thread that died out in 2011.

Looking in the back pages I found the thread that had/has a wealth of information and motivational stories contained within. Curious about those that set goals...if you achieved them? And if you were able to sustain them over time...and any new insight you gained over the course of the journey.

Reading thru the 22 pages over time helped keep me on track when tempted to give in to carbs.
After spending 3 months with my wife tending to her mother after suffering a massive bain bleed, living out of town, no time for any exercise, and  a diet of mostly peanut M&Ms and doctor pepper out of the machines  (not my normal eating) I hit an all time high weight of 190...about 15-17 lbs over my normal.

Going back to my normal active self, doing a modified take on Palio (go for leaner cuts of meats, limited diary, fair amount of fresh fruit) I am down to 153.8/ 33.25" waist from 190/40" waist at Christmas. Goal is 144 lbs and 30" waist that I was in college...I'm 59/5-7"
