Aloha Bob,
Hey, I'm accumulating a lot of scrapes also, even some yellow and red if any one is interested. ;D
I'm interested in your scraps. I'll take ANY color, even "pink". PM me and let's schedule a delivery.

My early winter quiver.     Next week I will be adding a 9-6 Ripper, in October will be adding a 9-2 All Arounder and in November a 12' Gun and the 9-8 Ripper.   All 4 molded and all with the same "Mosaic" deck pads. ;D

Blane tell me what you use to take the gump off from the previous pad.  I'm looking at a project with an olser standup where I have to rio the old pad off due to the thing just peeling off.  Any suggestions from you or any zoner would be greatly appreciated. ;D

I got new boards.   I sold my 10-6 a few weeks ago and my 9-6 and 9-3 are going on craigslist...   I do not peel off old pads anymore!   ITS MISERABLE!  :-[

My technique...

Fill a small jar or can with acetone. Using a paint brush, swab the underside of the pad with acetone as you peal it up. Use lots and lots of acetone. Keep brushing acetone under the pad as you lift. It will come off with little effort.

After it comes off, you'll be left with some glue still on the board. Switch to goo off and a stiff bristle bush to remove the remaining glue. Lots of Scott Rags in a box help too.

Make sure you guys use a mask in a well ventilated area using that stuff......you'll melt more than a few brain cells otherwise.

Can't wait to see the 1st artistic impression of this...when I said mosaic I meant...

Austin is using this technique and IT WORKS!     So far he is in the acetone stage and I saw it with my own eyes "peeling off with little effort"       There is hope...    Thanks DW.
