Spring break and you found that spot to yourself ... in SoCal.  You must be living right.  The wave shots were great but my fav was that golden lit camper.  Gave me the feeling.

Looks sweet!  Where was that?  I was here in SoCal all week and didn't get anything like that!

cnski... you are living the dream buddy!
Looking good on the Allwave... nice to see the green board on some clean waves.
and I agree with headmount.... that camper pic hits the spot... San Elijo is a great beach side campground... I live right up the hill from it from 3 winters (up Birmingham )

Thanks for the stoke!

Head, my buddy and myself found ourselves in the same incredibly vacant surroundings last Monday (although a bit further north then "cnski" is tearing up").

Couple foot overheads, with equally incredible lefts and rights....and not a soul in site to the north or south as far as the eye could see.  Didn't really hit us right away, as I guess we were having too much fun to notice.....

But about an hour in as we sat on our boards for in a brief respite....we both realized we were all alone, in one of the best sessions of the season to date, and couldn't help but .  Yeehaw!!

Those pics were taken on a Saturday, if you can believe that!! It was actually very crowded that day in certain spots. A nice little window opened up for me and I was able to enjoy those waves in near solitude. Had many a great session up and down that beach the whole week long. Really enjoyed the far North of that stretch of beach. Made a small trip up to Dogpatch one afternoon. Pretty windy up there, however. Southern Califonia. The land of near empty surf. Ha
