First SUP Wave

I am new to this board and SUP surfing.  I have been surfing most of my life but a bad illness about 2 years ago has limited my ability to prone surf.  I bought a stand up board about 3 weeks ago and today I caught my first wave.  It has been a real learning curve paddling in the waves but I am starting to get the hang of it.

Welcome, OC!  Seeing as it took me something like a year of paddling around before I successfully caught a wave, I'd say you're catching on quick!  It really is fun.  Great to get out and learn and then pick up lots of helpful tips here on the Zone.
