Will these dimensions float me?

In the market for a new SUP and thinking about a custom Jammer from SUP sports with these specs: 8' x 29' x 4'. Coming from a 9' Coreban Fusion and looking to scale down in size. Think it will float me at 175lbs?

Depends a bit on your balance, level of perseverance, determination etc... But you will be fine, just might take a session or two. Look at the threads on 7'7" ish boards right now and you'll see what size brutes are riding what.

I'm 160lb.

When I first got my 105L Infinity TL (8'5x28, peak deck), I couldn't stay up on it at all. Didn't touch it for a couple of months. Decided to take it out on some flatwater and try again. Spent a couple of hours figuring it out on the flat.

Now I can balance on it extremely easily. Spent several hours in the surf yesterday, felt very very very comfortable on it.
