downwinder in Malibu

I was wondering if anyone has done or would be interested in doing a downwinder from Malibu to Topanga? Seems to me that conditions during a clearing wind would be pretty ideal, wouldn't even need to go too far offshore since the wind and swell parallel the coastline pretty much.  Anybody?

I'd be up for it, but don't have any time until '13.  The guys at Poseidon were doing Topanga - Santa Monica one a week or so.  Don't know if they still have it running.

We've done a few PV to San Pedro runs and that's great fun.  PM your email and I'll let you know when we plan the next one.

Mugu rock to Leo Carrillo beach is a fun one did that race a few times about 7 miles.
