As a wave sailor i,m dreaming a +20year of going to Maui and finally we are gonna do it. Thursday we arrive and stay 4weeks
The last 5 years I got addicted on SUP as well but somehow I don,t read that much about spots so hope you guys can help me out.
I,m 90kg and sufficient in the waves (goofy) and used to Northsea crap you don't wanna surf for sure, but go each year a couple of weeks on holiday to the Atlantic Ocean to ride the good stuff.
My girlfriend is a beginner in the waves but also enjoys a good book on the bach when i,m doing the more challenging waves
I,m paddling at home a Hokua9.0 and a Starboard WP8.10 when its choppy, confused waves or small (often its all of them). Bringing my own gear would cost a fortune so we rent at Kanahakai Starboards.
I know Kanaha should be nice to SUP and read about thousand peaks, but are there any other spots that are nice?
Any spots to avoid?
