On Saturday October 20th 2012 Paddle Boarding Palm Beach LLC is proud to host the 1st Annual Paddle For The Cure Of The Palm Beaches. This Event is a fundraiser for the South Florida affiliate of the Susan G Komen Foundation raising awareness and early detection for breast cancer. Elite Racers ( 14' men/woman and 12'6" men/woman) will participate in a 10k race competing for prize money. In addition there is a 5k paddle race for all who want to participate and join the cause. The 5k is designed for recreational paddlers, teams, and kids. There will be paddle boards available for those who do not own paddleboards on a first come basis, as availability is limited. Live music will play throughout the day along with food and beverage vendors. Paddle Board demonstrations will be hosted by our areas professionals. An expo featuring the industries top brands and companies will exhibit their merchandise. Bring the Kids too, there will be activities for the little ones as well.

My race club is attending this event!  It is going to be awesome and what a great cause.  I just posted something about it in the General topics section.  Look for the guy on the big red Fanatic Fly 14.  If the girls in our club have their way, I might be wearing a pink tutu as well...
