No worries thanks. I am just doing the converson, in oz we are metric. For us it works out to be about 24 kg per cubic meter. Great craftsmanship. How does it hold up for dents etc?

So far the board has held up well- no dents or dings, which is amazing with only 2- 6oz layers on the deck, and I weigh 220lbs (100 kilos). The next boards I will be making will have 2 layers of 7.5oz on the deck and only one on the bottom. We'll see how that goes.

Cool,
I am not sure what I am going to do my board yet? I understand the PSH are 2 6oz on bottom and 2 on top with a 6 oz patch. I am thinking of trying 1x 6oz and 1x4oz on the bottom and the same on the deck with another 4 oz patch. Guys here in aust have a process too which allows the board to be glassed with epoxy and polyester so a poly gloss coat can be applied. Apparently the combo is a bit stiffer and the finish is better. Rather go a bit lighter and see how it goes rather than too heavy. Especially with the full lenght deck pads.
Regards,
Scott

Yohan-
Mahalo for the compliment! I have been hand laminating all my boards but would like to switch to vac bag in the near future.
Aloha,
Mahana

Mahana,
Just wanted to say "Hi". I've been talking a lot with Pete (Gortex Vents) and have ordered several plugs.

Any chance your coming to Hawaii next month?

Aloha......Sam

You Know it! We'll be in Kauai 'til the 20th then on to Oahu through the 27th. I will be staying on the north side in Laie but should be in the Waianae area at least a couple of times that week. What's your schedule like during that time?
Glad your getting to know Pete, he's one smart guy. My brother is planning on visiting him after we get back to have him overhaul one of our Skil planers.

Aloha,
Mahana
