This is Peekskill Bay on the Hudson River. It's where the Hudson Highlands begin. It's really gorgeous.

On Good Friday my daughter and I paddled the West Vancouver waterfront, in particular Ambleside Beach.  The conditions were just like this series of photos.  These are the gravel banks off the Capilano River at low tide.  Note the CCG Hovercraft heading out.

I haven't ventured off the lake yet this year. I did take off work today to paddle a few miles. I am jealous of all of the other pic posts. Very cool views!
