I reckon the Badfish MVP 9 would be great on that wave!

What I have seen so far I like the badfish designs much and I am sure they would work great in our wave, unfortunately its not possible to test them here in Europe. Are there any dealers for Europe? Would be interesting.

The MVP is like nothing I have ever paddled in 30 years of paddling.

Nice wave, I think I'd name it Two Beers on the North Shore. 

Have you ever considered wearing a helmet and/or pfd?

In the summer months there are times when I won't bother with PFD or Helmet.

Not at Hurley Weir though.. You need all the safety gear you can get, the eddy lines suck you down, even with PFD
