I've seen the catalog. Nice piece of work. And of course i have a LOT of SIC boards, including a new Bullet 17,5 waiting for me in Maui. If you want to do serious downwind you need to at least try them to understand what you want.
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.

Yeah gents, the boards do look really sweet. I do currently own an F16, but  soon to be sold. I want to get a 14 bullet. Not sold on rudders yet. Might want the option Of just a fin box.

Hopefully we will find out about availability soon.

Here is the SIC catalog in .pdf format:
http://www.standuppaddlesurf.net/images/2013-SIC-Full-Catalog.pdf

The production boards will be available on the mainland early 2013, prices are about the same as 2012, I have a price list, lmk which models you are interested in and I can post the msrp.

SIC is now owned by Flow and will be distributed out of California, so they should be easier to get for anyone not in Hawaii starting next year.

Thanks Robert.   Nice catalog..

I heard Livio mention that they (production boards) are being made at Cobra in Thailand.. good stuff..
(Both my Coast Runner and Glide 14 were made there (I think) and they both are quality jobs..

I'm interested in a 14 bullet with steering, and also a f-16.
P.M me if you don't want to post the price here..

Wow awesome catalog. I love their boards - riding the F16 was a revelation. Can you PM me or post the prices of the Bullet 12' and 14' in all 3 constructions? Thank you!

Yes, the SIC production boards are made by the Cobra factory in Thailand.  I have been riding them for almost 2 yrs (I had two 17'4 Bullets in DCC construction with ASS) and they are excellent quality.  I personally prefer the production boards over the hollow boards as they don't flex/ vibrate as much.

Here are the 2013 msrp prices for the models you asked about:

14' Bullet w. steering, DCC: $3299
14' Bullet no steering, Tuff- Wood: $1999
14' Bullet no steering, SCC: $2499

12'6 Bullet TWCC: $1899
12'6 Bullet SCC: $2399

16' F-16: $3599 (DCC, ASS)

Let me know if you want pricing on any other models.

Pre- order special:
For anyone on Oahu, I am putting together a pre order that is due in 5 days, if you order before the Oct. 1st pre-order deadline, we can offer you 10% off the msrp.  $200 deposit required.
The colors on the production boards are as shown in the catalog, no other color options available.

Saw the boards at Surf Expo.  The boards looked great and very light.  Cannot wait to see some out here on the east coast.  Also all the guys at SIC are great to deal it too.  Very nice product!! Hope to see some shops carry  them on the east coast.

Here are the 2013 msrp prices for the models you asked about:

14' Bullet w. steering, DCC: $3299
14' Bullet no steering, Tuff- Wood: $1999
14' Bullet no steering, SCC: $2499

12'6 Bullet TWCC: $1899
12'6 Bullet SCC: $2399

16' F-16: $3599 (DCC, ASS)

Thanks for the cost breakdown BPS! Very reasonable considering the prestige of the brand and the quality of the boards.

I don't know if you, or anyone for that matter, has had an opportunity to try out or check out the difference between the TWCC and the SCC constructions. But do you have anymore information on the differences between how the two constructions will differ once on the water? I'm assuming the wood will be slightly heavier and more durable? And the carbon more stiff?

Would it be fair to compare it to Naish and their AST and wood constructions on the older Glides (that's what I ride now and the AST has held up great and I don't notice any increased weight over the wood). Thank you!
