Rik,
We had nice waves here in NJ with Sunday being EPIC

Hope you are getting more good stuff up your way now and the old Whites are not bothering you

Keep those waves coming unfortunately that isn't happening

Let hope for more this fall

yesterday was pretty great in southern ri -- spent six hours in the water, got out at 6pm, fell into bed at 6:32 pm -- and so was this morning, starting a little before dawn, smaller but peeling nonetheless, until the crawlers got on it like an onshore wind and the place went to hell  :D.

Jury duty this morning, got selected to sit on a trial that will last the week.   :-[
Apparently, "Brah, there's a swell on!", isn't considered a valid hardship exclusion.

Hey, it was worth a try   :D

Leslie finally exposed herself for what she is: a promiscuous provider of waves, allowing anyone to have their way with her. Proners, SUPers, Spongers and even Kayakers all scored today in Vacationland. Not epic nor as much of a romp as last year's Katia, but still a fine time with this year's good time gal.

Dawn Patrol rewarded with a gloriously glassy first hour before offshores turned brisk. The pain of paddling into the wind with a wide-nosed, 8'+ surf SUP faded as soon as each drop got made, but more than one wave got missed due to the gusts. Hopefully, the wind will ease from the 30mph indicated overnight.

A 6 + 2 hour double session today means Advil and an early bedtime. Hope you're situated similarly.

I missed yesterday (sunday), which in Long Island was the best of the swell, had to put time in with the future in-laws.  Its not as much of a bummer as it normally would be bc we have had great waves since wednesday,  I finally busted out the go pro and have been having fun with it, thanks Leslie!

I have done a few jury's... hugely important task we should ALL do.... Kudos, you'll be glad you did....
but... if you ever REALLY need a hall pass, just say these words:
" I have a bunch of cop friends"... you will be dismissed.

Reid... Nice pics
but... I would seriously consider training the in-laws properly...  ;)

Been on the road for a few days.... chasing our girl
never got the size we were hoping for.... but plenty of awesome waves ;D
May do a sessions post for the color... but here's a sample of waves around NE

Included as much SUP as possible....
Pic quality sucks cuz many spots are 500 yards out... Zoom & Crop takes it's toll

Lots of breaks, lots of stoke and good vibes... Everyone got plenty... line ups were thinned considerably by noon Monday.

A little proner action at the end

Thanks Leslie... I had a great time ;D

Twas a good run...nothing huge... but sure consistent....
Too many for the rack
