Fanatic race board go pro mounting

I recently purchased a go pro but I realized that there would be a few problems mounting it to the board if any of you have seen the front of a fanatic race board it's defiantly not flat and I know I could buy different mounting options to mount it level but I was wondering if it would look terrible if I just used a surf mount? I saw someone who mounted it on the front but I'm thinking the video wouldn't turn out well at an angle? Any thoughts? Cheers- Sup junkie
