yep, im signed up.  6 miler for me on my 14'.  got my dad to sign up for his first race too, 3 miler.  supposed to be super windy so they may change course.  i think a 3 mile is just an all out sprint but then again so is a 6 for the most part…that is the extent of my sup race analysis  ;D.

see u there!

Wow, I can't believe this is the first I've heard of this.  Unfortunately on two days notice I have a full day scheduled with my son.  Maybe next year.

I'm in for this too.  Looks like they just bumped the start time to 9AM and changed the location...

Looks like it's going to be a grim day for landscaping.  :( Grim day for a lot of stuff. It'll be good to paddle though. Yes, they moved the race to the very protected Westport River. Sign-in is at 8, race at 9. The start/finish is right there at their shop.

How did the event go?  Weather looked pretty nasty.

Went very well. There was a rain-free window from about 8:30 and 11 and all the races went between 9 and 11. The race course was on the Westport river and mostly out of the wind  ;) The event was well organized with great prizes for many of the racers.  Everyone had loads of fun.

Glad the races slipped in between all the nasty's.
Pretty crappy day around the Outer Cape.

Sounds like the race organizers did a great job!
