Lessons on Kauai?

I will be in Kauai in August and plan to spend a lot of time on a SUP on the south shore. Any recommendations for lessons? I am not a complete beginner, but I would like to work on technique in the surf. Thanks.

Kauai can be tough.

The only spot I knew of was Kalapaki Beach Boys (their name tells you all you need) but there's a surf shop in Poipu who might be able to help too.

Please let us know if you find anything. We go every year or so and rentals are always a tough one there.

Lessons on the southside, not that I know of but you could ask Nukumoi down by Brenneckes. IMO, if you need lessons stay away from the southside, and like the previous post check out Kalapaki (beach boys) they have SUP rentals and lessons. The bay is very SUP friendly, the southside not so much.
