$70 leash!!

my leash broke in pr and my board went in a cave!!! u don't know what sucks is till that happens... basically a cave with rebarb  for walls. man that was a swim... i brake them all the time just sucks.

I hear you newton. I broke my leash at Waimea Bay, well pinballs it was not qute big enough for the bay, board went up into the rocks it was trashed.  Had to climb down get the board climb up the rocks while timing the sets. I now buy the biggest big wave leash I can find.

wow! good one's...i should of started a broken leash tales thread but this is good.
No word from OE yet..i wanna try thier leash..  cave tooo funny..yea that would suck.

I've broken strings too now i use para cord seems to work great wish starboard would bring back the double leash plug makes me feel safer.  all leashes suck with sup I've learned its just a matter of time i go threw about 3 a yr.

Anyone else built their own(other than the above poster)? I was thinking a little bit of 5mm dyneema and some tougher webbing on the ankle end and you would almost never break it(cut it maybe, but not snap it outright)
