Naish Hokua 9'0'' Difference from 2011 to 2012?

So this has been my favorite board for some time. My problem is that my weight goes up and dowg like a yo-yo. As my weight went up I sold my old Hokua, and as I went down I got the new one. Boards don't really have any value when they are not being used...after that it has been very windy so I've been kiting.

It kind of feels different, but I am not sure what it is...I've had some great sessions on it, and I am more happy than ever with the board. Take offs are super easy, even pretty late ones. I can definitely feel the more grippy deck, but the board feels like it turns nicer than before. I've tried the stock fins, and I added a set of M4 McKee..the board feel crazy good.
Looking at the board in the water, the tail rocker looks a little more pronounced...but i am not sure since I never rode the boards side by side. It feels like the scoop on the deck is a little deeper. Nose a little thinner?

Does any one know? Am I just imagining things? Anyways psyched to be back paddling. The southswell is building.
