Fiona won!! What a hell of a waterwoman she is. I don't even think of her as a surfer, more of a downwind/race, windsurf, kitesurfer. But she looked so strong in the second-day finals. Izzy and Shakira looked great too, but Fiona's win was obvious, even if it was a near thing. If that's her it's from a non-final heat, she was wearing the blue jersey in the finals but the board looks like hers.

What a cool/good kid she is too...Sue and her hit it off when we had dinner with the family a few years back. Sue could care less about surfing contests but she was stoked for Fiona.
