Is there going to be a Hawaii BOP this year?

Had a blast last year, hoping to give it a go again in 2012.  Any news?

There will be no BoP Hawaii this year. However there will be an event the same weekend that's gonna be pretty similar.

The Waikiki Paddle Festival by Quiksilver Watermans & Jamie Mitchell. 5th & 6th May.

Race format will be different to the BoP, but it's the same basic idea: Two day paddle festival, lots of races, all the pros, etc.

Then the next weekend is the Olukai race, so most of the world's elite will be in Hawaii for those two weekends!
