Just purchased our first boards!

Hey all,

Just wanted to let other zones know that my wife and I just purchased our first boards, we are soooo excited.  We ended up getting a Naish Nalu 11'6 in wood, and a Hobie ATR 11'2.  All we need know is for the weather to warm up a little bit, warm booties and spring is around the corner!

Just wanted to share our excitement.

Stoked for you!  I especially admire a marriage where you can buy his and her boards!  My wife is spectacular on many fronts, but unfortunately has not caught the SUP bug.  I paddle alone...

It's great when both partners paddle for sure. Also in my case, i mostly paddle alone or with my buddies, none of which are as gorgeous as my dear wife. That said, i do sometimes have the pleasure of her company, maybe once or twice a month.

Congrats, the wife and I are just about to get our first as well. I will be getting a 12'6 Riviera Voyager and the wife is still in the deciding stages of what she wants. It didn't take much convincing to get her on board.

Awesome...you're going to have a good time. It's great to have a wife that paddles. I'm stoked for this season...my wife just had lasiks...now she can see waves coming and is very excited to get on some surf. Good thing I didn't sell her 9-8 element...
