When my girlfiend had an art gallery she had her best ROI with Facebook Advertising. Unfortunately we weren't able to keep it open but she now has a page with just her jewelry and it does get responses and sales. Often previous customers refer people that like her work to the Facebook information. It is much cheaper than business cards that get lost or only are used as bookmarks.
This is what I saw when viewing the page.

Working here too. I hadn't logged into FB before with my new laptop. Saw everything without login.....logged in and "liked" and Ashley changed into her bikini...sleazy marketing trick, awesome.

Ask Rick Romano what he feels about FB. Pretty sure I saw him mention a huge increase in business because of it. Art seems especially well suited to FB.

The main thing (as I understand it) is to be pretty active (and interactive) with your page...I'm no expert, but I am in charge of updating several of my Co. pages (McMenamins...Oregonian as you are, you likely know them)...it's a constant effort to add content but you have a pretty rich source.

I'd offer that people are pretty interested in what you're up to as well as Ke Nalu products...bringing in the personal (like the steak you ate after your Maliko paddle) go just a far as the Beta paddle you're working on.

Cheers

Since I'm not on your fiends list I figured I would mention here that the link you shared on Facebook isn't working because it has an extra s at the end of the link.

vs
www.facebook.com/KeNaluPaddle

Must be too much starring at the pictures.  ;D

Sure, I know Mike and Brian, Mike from the early days at the Hillsdale Pub and Brian used to be my neighbor in Forrest Heights. Always cracked me up that Brian would bring a case of Bud to any neighborhood party.
