Has anyone talked to someone who uses one or owns one himself?

I haven't surfed any of the smaller ones, but I did demo the new 9'7" x 31" JL Kwad.
Really stable and gets into waves super easy. I surfed it in waist to shoulder high semi-slow point break waves.
It was loose and turny on the face, but I think it needed more of a wave than I was surfing to get some drive out of it.
My friend that owns it uses it as his big wave board and really likes it for that. It has lots of tail rocker that should help on steep and hollow waves.
Super tough construction, semi-light and very well finished off. Nice looking board.

Had the 9 1 for a year. I am 105kg and find it stable and loose on the wave. Very rockered up in the tail so needs a steeper wave. Great board first class construction.

Picked up a used 9-1 custom quad last july I think it was the proto for the prod. model almost perfect for my weight. Just a good do it all surf board, big or small waves seems to have enough drive off the bottom turn to make me happy. Stable without being to wide not to thick, nice rails.I would like to try the 8-7 .

A buddy of mine got an 8-7, he's 195-200lbs so a small board for him but he does fine on it, takes it into anything.  He says he's stoked on it, I have yet to trade him rides to try it myself.  Looks awesome in person!  Nice thin rails and tail.
