Sunset at Whidbey island with my wood Javelin:

Do you fly this "Pod" up there on the weekends?
No, I fly up in a Space Pickle.
Do you immediately go exchange breath with the locals like a true hawaiian?-or do you just throw up a haole aloha!
Wardog-no fair-ive seen your bitchin cameras-mine was with my iphone!-very cool painting by the way.
Actually, that "haole" stuff has me freaked out ever since it occurred to me that the guy who invented that word may have just been dyslexic.

Is that when you don't want to ride on your motorsickle ?

Dood...whatup?!?!
I thought that you were going home and buying that puppy...CD is blowing up...gotta capture that kid in HD vid...wish we had this technology when we were growing up...

The detail in that painting is amazing...Davey captures the planets coming out with stars...and, even Arch Rock at the east end of Anacapa Island...and, I can mind surf those phosphorescent waves over and over...

This sunset photo is a scan from a slide I took before digital camera technology...super minus tide...near UCSB...only slightly captures the intensity...but, you can extrapolate...
i did just buy the 7D-what a camera-way too technical for me but we have gotten some good shots-and it shoots really nice video. Think the guy going to Taiwan with CD has one-hoping to see some good shots.

That reminds me of the Painted Cave fire, but we don't need to go there again, awesome pic.
It takes a quiver to do that.

Gracias...but, nature did the heavy lifting...all I did was depress my index finger...;-)

Here's one from behind the redwood curtain in Humboldt country...and, a couple from the Baja...oops...a sunrise from the Sea of Cortez...tequila sunrise...has similar scattered lighting...as does a sunrise from down under...at least that's what George Greenough told me and showed me...;-)

Hey 808, have you seen the green flash just as the sun disappears?
