Go Pro Video Caribbean day trip
« on: January 10, 2012, 05:40:24 PM »
A video of a day trip I took last week from my vacation house on Bequia to the neighboring island of St.Vincent 9 miles away.  Perfect day with some really fun waves breaking on the outer reef and noone but me and the fish.....  Once again the music didn't upload and I apologize for some of the sunspots and water droplets.  It's hard to find rain-x on a third world island.

Very cool, I ride a Coreban Performer also.  Surroundings look much nicer than here in Ventura County, Ca.

I love myPerformer Mark, but can't wait to get my Fusion down there soon.

I love that yellow moke too 808 and wish it were mine.  It's my friend's car and he let's me drive it when I go to the mainland.  My "car" is actually a Honda Rancher quad ATV which is perfect for the  tiny island of Bequia.  I attach the MULE and take my SUP all over the island

Nice vid Don. I like that there is no music...especially during the surfing...sound of the board is music enough. Some of the water spot sunspot combos were kind of cool looking actually.... ;D

Awesome video. One tip on the music. You can look at the top of the video on YouTube and see a link for AudioSwap. That's the way you add stock music to your videos, you can even mix it a little to keep some of the surf sounds.

That wave looks so fast.

Bob I also like the sound of the wind and the water ripping by the camera microphone.  The way I did the video included some natural sound mixed with music and it was really cool.  It plays on my computer fine, just didn't upload to YouTube.  Will have to Look for that audio sweep feature surf cowboy thanks for that tip

hey Shawn have fun at SURF Expo

Thanks  endless, Ya I am pretty lucky but worked hard to create my lifestyle.

there are actually 3 reef breaks but the winds were howling 18-20 knots which the video doesn't really show.  I had to surf the most protected reef it's about 7-8 ft deep at take off and finishes over 1-2 foot deep above sharp reef.  Can be shallower on big days when water gets sucked up.
There is great incentive not to fall believe me.

The other two breaks are fast bowls and a fun , short tube ride  as you can see it's a goofy footer's dream.
